7 Khoon Maaf is more than just a husband-killing spree:)

The most frequently shown image of a typical Indian housewife is that she is a teetotaller, docile and submissive. To the most, she is self-sufficient or a go-getter, without leaping out her own shoes. But 7 Khoon Maaf is a fire in an ice bag. Here we have an Indian lady who has a killer instinct. She leads her own way, writes her own will and does what she thinks is right. Of course, there’s a reason behind her every action. Director Vishal Bhardwaj has a genuine brilliance when it comes to making movies based on the works of thoughtful writers. For 7 Khoon Maaf, he relies on Ruskin Bond’s Susanna's Seven Husbands, and he does it pretty well. Acting, camera work, editing, music, script, direction; everything in the film calls for kudos.

Together everything good, 7 Khoon Maaf is a real watch this weekend! And again, we expect Vishal to re do 7KM, where all the seven husbands of Susanna will club together as ghosts to disturb her. Should we think of the title “Hum Saath Nehi Chodenge”?
