Ready is readily good :)

Muscular Salman is a one man army and his (masala) films are mass pullers. No matter even if they are script-less, unoriginal and brain-dead, but all they need to be trend setters is the presence of conditionally funny and conditionally serious Sallu. After all, the vast majority of our movie goers like to be entertained, not to be educated. If that’s fine, Ready is a perfectly balanced piece of wholesome family entertainment. To tell it otherwise, Ready is likeable is you leave your brain back at the home.

A Strange Love Story is really Strange :(

When our directors can’t get enough out of humans, they rely on paranormal agents; something which they think will connect with the fearful movie goers unconditionally. They serve it with the fresh tadka of sex and suspense so that attention builds up by design. But sadly enough, this formula doesn’t work very well in today’s setting. Today’s audiences apply reason rather than taking anything for granted. This is the tragedy with A Strange Love Story, which fails horribly because of a poor script, average acting and a peculiar story. The point was to create a go-freeze horror movie based on suspense, but nothing saved it from being a poor piece of silly imagination.

Hanna is okay, not great :(

This is a mix of action, adventure and mystery revolving around the life story of a 16-year-old assassin who after being brought up by her father embarks on an eventful journey across Europe. As time goes by, she faces shocking revelations about her existence.

Hanna is the eventful adventure of an extraordinary girl. The flick has been made with clever direction and it has some really convincing performances, but an unconventional subject and linear screenplay kills its tone, making it just yet another average flick of the week.
